# Updating philosophy

### Updating your **central device**

```bash
dmt next
```

 This will update the **DMT ENGINE** on your main computer (PC)

### Update all other devices from your main device (individual method)

```bash
dmt update [device]
```

 This will update the **DMT ENGINE** on the rest of your devices, one by one.

Every time you do this combination you upgrade your **Personal Network** capabilities.

### 💡Update all nearby devices (automatic method for LAN)

```bash
dmt update nearby
```

Dynamically updates all devices on your local network.
